Before - After
First find a picture. I used a picture of Chad Michael Murray.
Paste the following on top of that layer and set it to Exclusion 54%
Then, Paste the following on top of that and set it to Exclusion 59%
After, Paste the following on top of the Dark brown layer and set it to Soft Light 41%
Then Paste the following on top and set it to Overlay 100%
Add some brushes if you wish and then you are done!

But you should add brushes, and this was my final icon:
